Important Information - We will be switching our telephone lines 01909 500266 over to digital on Thursday 14th September this means our phone system could be down for up to 3 hours.
On Thursday 14th September our phone system could be down for up to 3 hours to change our existing analogue lines over to digital, which apparently should make our system more efficient we have been told. This is totally out of our hands but it does mean there could be no service for up to 3 hours we hope this is not the case but we need to be prepared. We cannot even put a recorded message on to the system as the lines will be completely dead.
If you need non urgent medical advice please contact NHS 111. If you have a medical emergency such as chest pains please ring 999.
Don't forget your local pharmacy can provide minor illness advice also.
We have contacted local radio and also informed Bassetlaw CCG.

We no longer require any proof of identity you just need to come to reception in person to collect your log on information.

Confidential information from your medical records such as Diagnoses, BMI, Prescriptions, Cholesterol results, etc (not consultations), along with your NHS Number, Date of Birth and Gender can be used by the NHS to improve the services offered so we can provide the best possible care for everyone.
This information (not your name) are sent to a secure system (HSCIC - Health and Social Care Information Centre) where it can be linked to other health information from different parts of the NHS in a way that does not identify you.
YOU HAVE A CHOICE
If you are happy for your information to be used in this way you do not have to do anything. If you have any concerns or wish to prevent this from happening, please speak to the practice staff and ask for an 'Opt out Form'.
There is a lot of information on the Website www.nhs.uk/caredata and there is also a helpline 0300 4563531 to be able to answer all your questions.
Due to information received on the news media over the weekend, There are concerns over who can access data over and above the medical community who we thought only recipients.
Because of this Newgate Medical Group have decided to put a temporary block on data sharing until we get guidance from the department of health and TPP.
Be reassured that for the moment your Data will NOT be shared with ANY outside agencies.
