Our Nurses

Dee Bentley

Dee is our Nurse Manager and provides a wide range of nursing services including asthma checks, INR, baby, childhood and adult vaccinations, dressings, cervical screening, COPD checks & spirometry

Emma Martindale

Emma is our diabetic lead nurse and also offers a wide range of nursing duties including full diabetic check, foot pulses, cervical screening, baby, childhood, adult & travel vaccinations & dressings

Janet Edwards

Janet is a general practice nurse who completes a wide range of Nursing duties, including Asthma checks, Full diabetic checks, INR, Compression bandaging and Dressings, Baby, childhood, Adult and travel vaccinations, Doppler scanning of the lower leg, COPD checks & spirometry, cervical screening.

Karen Mudd

Karen is a practice nurse who offers a wide range of services including dressings, B12, Pneumonia & Zostavax injections, ECG, blood pressure check, removal of sutures, pill check, Depo injection, adult MMR vaccine, audiograms for children.

Katie Tait

Katie is a practice nurse providing a wide range of services including Baby, childhood and adult vaccinations, blood pressure checks, Dressing application, ECG’s, suture removal & venepuncture, cervical screening

Janis Taylor

Janis is a practice nurse who offers a wide range of services: Dressings, B12, Pneumonia & Zostavax vaccines, ECG, Blood Pressure check, Removal of sutures, Adult MMR vaccine, Pill check, Depo injection.

Hayley Beaver

Hayley is an Admiral Nurse. She is a specialist dementia nurse, working in partnership with Dementia UK, offering specialist advice and support for families living with dementia. For those with complex needs and challenging situations, the Admiral Nurse service will assist in finding appropriate ways to safely manage this by helping families have the links to the appropriate support, providing support and education to develop new skills for the carer and to support the person living with dementia to stay independent.

Nigel Allison

Nigel joined us from the community and is an Advanced Clinical Practitioner working alongside the Partners and he is able to deal with most problems as the Salaried Doctors do apart from under 16’s and Gynaecology. He can deal with most infections, chronic illnesses such as Diabetes and COPD and is able to prescribe medication.

Heather is a member of our Paramedic team who specialises in acute & emergency medicine and care. Working alongside our daily triage doctor to provide community home visits to patients unable to get to the surgery & supporting our care homes.

Nicola Welby

Nicola is one of our Healthcare Assistants and can help with the following: Weight management, B12 injections, BMI checks, Adult Pneumonia and Shingles booster vaccinations, ECG, ear checks and syringing, Feno tests, Foot pulses, health checks, HRT checks and spirometry and blood tests.

Rachel is a clinical pharmacist who works within the practice supporting our GP’S ACP’S and healthcare team providing medication reviews for patients, and supporting our care homes.

Vaz joined our team in October 2016 and currently works within the practice as our in house clinical pharmacist working alongside our GP’S ACP’S and healthcare team providing medication reviews for patients, and supporting our care homes.

Practice Manager

The practice manager is involved in managing all of the business aspects of the practice such as making sure that the right systems are in place to provide a high quality of patient care, human resources, finance, patient safety, premises and equipment and information technology. The practice manager supports the GPs and other medical professionals with delivering patient services and also helps to develop extended services to enhance patient care.

Senior Care Co-ordinator

Darcie supports an oversees the department and the staff. Her role focuses on Severe Mental Illness Health checks & Annual reviews, Learning Disability annual reviews and she is also the Carer’s champion for the surgery.

Safeguarding and Cancer Care Lead

Sarah works with and supports cancer lead GP Dr Holman.

She also works with the Safeguarding lead GP and is admin lead for all incoming enquiries.

Senior Care Co-ordinator & Vaccination lead

Rosie is the Vaccination lead and this involves arranging clinics, sending out invites and queries to patients.
 
She also deals with the 8 week Baby checks & immunisations & post natal invites.

Lynne deals and supports with Asthma/COPD review (Respiratory)
LTC – dual condition reviews, Spirometry Test appointments,
